Dear Mr. Rusche:
Under date of December 16, 1976, we submitted Amendment No. 41 to the Application for Licenses for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1.
The principal purpose of this amendment was to document a small change in ownership percentage of the Davis-Besse No. 1 unit between The Toledo Edison Company and The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company: Toledo Edison's ownership percentage decreasing from 52.5 per cent to 48.62 per cent, and Cleveland's ownership percentage increasing from 47.5 per cent to 51.38 per cent.
During recent conversations with members of your licensing staff, it was indicated by them that Construction Permit No. CPPR-80 should be amended to reflect this change in ownership percentage.
If you deem such an amendment to Construction Permit No. CPPR-80 to be necessary, please consider this letter a request for such an amendment.
