Pursuant to the requirements of E Bulletin 79-17, " Pipe Cracks In Star =*
Borsted Mater Systems At PMR Plants", paragraph 4 page 4, the following is reported as Reportable Occurrence 50-29/80-12.
During ligM penetrant examinations of piping associated with the boric acid system. two linear indications were foted on a weld used to, join a 2-1/2" valve o a 2-1/2" schedule 10 coupling.
Die valve will be removed and en d en the interior weld surface. Should there ba no tiuQ the wall penetration, this un will be cancelled.
A more detailed report will be made in 14 days if the requirements of E Bulletin 79-17 syn 2y.
