ATTACllMENT TO LER 79-003/03L-0 During normal operation, while performing Instrument Surveillance Procedure F-ISP-46 titled " Main Steam liigh Flow," instrument 02-DPIS-116B, was found set at 110 psid. This is contrary to the requirements of Technical Specification Appendix A, Table 3.2-1 which requires a set point not greater than 108 psid (140*6 of rated flow). The other fifteen instruments with identical function were found set within the limits of the technical specifications, thus steam flow in excess of the Technical Specification limits would have resulted in closure of the Main Steam Isolation Valves.

The differential pressure switch had drifted and was immediately recalibrated to within the limits of Technical Specifications, tested, and returned to service.
