Enclosed is a copy of the " Notice of Proposed Renewal of Facility License" which is being filed with the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
The notice relates to your application dated June 14, 1979, for a license amendment to renew Facility License Ilo. R-77 for your Pulstar Research Reactor.
The eipiration date for this license is September 15, 1979.
Since your application was submitted at least 30 days prior to the expiration date of your license, you have satisified the requirements of 10 CFR Part 2, Section 2.109, entitled "Effect of Timely Renewal Application." Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.109, the existing license will not be deemed to have expired until the application has been finally determined.
