1.1 PURPOSE The purpose of this procedure is to provide guide lir.es to the TMi Staff for the collection, receipt, storage and maintenance of Non

QC administrative records associated with TMI Station.
1.2 SCOPE This procadure applies to the Operations, Ma ntenance, and Engineering Non QC, records necessary to furnish objective evidence of the coupliance with pertinent regulatory requirements.

2.0 RESPONSIBILITIES 2.o 203 194
1007 Revision 4 07/14/73 2.1 The Manager-Generation Administration is responsible for providing the requirements, with concurrence of Manager-Generation Quality Assurance, anc establishing the procedures necessary to provide for long term scfe storage of station records.
2.2 The Supervisor-Quality Control is responsible for conducting surveillances and the Supervisor-Quality Assurance is responsible f,or conducting audits in the areas of station records retention and handling.
2.3 _The Coerdinator-Services is responsible for providing the procedures necessary to operate the TMT Station Records Area and Technical Library.
To maintain a TMI Recurds/ Files Access List.
To complete and revise as needed the Generation Division Document List of Station Records.
3.1 REQUIREMENTS All station records will be handled in accordance with references (a) through (k).

.s 1007 Revision 4 07/14/70 3.2 Records to be stored in accordance with Procedure GP0063 Record Control, and paragraph 3.5.
3.3 The Coordinator-Service shall establish a system for classifying, inde/:ing, labeling, and filing of records listed in the attachment as stored in the Technical Library or records area in accord with GP0062 Central File Index.
3.4 Records removed from the Technical Library or records area must be logged and signed out in accordance with GP0063 Record Control.
3.5 Records shall be stored in a manner which precludes deterioration of the records. The following requirements shall apply:
(a)
Records shall be stored in standard steel file cabinets.

Records shall be firmly attached in binders or placed in

folders or envelopes for storage.
(c) Special processed records (such as radiograrhs, photographs, negatives and microfilm) which are light-sensitive,

t pressure sensitive or temperature sensitive shall be u
y packaged and stored as recommended by the manufacturer of the materials.

Provisions shall be made in the storage arrangements to

prevent damage from condensation.
