Salem Generating Station Unit-1 and 2 Docket No. 50-272/50-311 Amendment to Facility Operating License License Change.Request S97-27 The subject request was submitted to the NRC by PSE&G letter dated December 15, 1997. The request *proposes to modify Technical Specification (TS) 3/4.6.1, and add section 6.8.4.f Containment Leak Rate Testing Program, to adopt optjon B of 10CFR50 Appendix J.

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering has reviewed the request in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50. 91 (b) and has no comments.
