07101 Gentlemen:
On October 8, 1981, the Division of Licensing completed the review of your application dated September 29, 1981, and issued Amendment No. 39 to License No. DPR-70 for the Salem Nuclear Generating Station Unit No. 1. This application proposed certain Technical Specification changes as requested by ONRR's letter dnted Ju"ly 2, 1980, on TMI-2 Lessons Learned Category "A" items.

($12,300) was remitted with your application, pursuant to 10 CFR 170.. 22.
Based on information provided by the ONRR staff as a result of their final review of your application, it mas been determined that a Class III fee ($4,000) is applicable to this application, in lieu of a Class*
WV fee, because the review involved a single issue. Therefore, we are concurrently uuthorizing the Office of the Controller to refund ::$,8~*,3.00 to your company.
Refunds are generally processed by the Office of the Controller within approximately two weeks.
