Dear Mr. Denton:
Carolina Power i~t: Light Company (CPRL) hereby submits additional information concerning the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant calculation of ultimate strength capacity of the Containment Building under uniform pressure.
This information is submitted in response to Safety Evaluation Report Confirmatory Item No. 8. Attached are the results of the Structural Integrity Test conducted February 21-27, 1986.
The test procedures and expected analytical results were contained in CPRLrs pt evious submittal dated 3anuary 27, 1986.
A discussion of the comparison of actual versus expected analytical results is also attached.
The attached information fulfillsCPt~t:L's previous commitments for submittal of additional information.
