This refers to the telephone conversation between Hr.

Doug Halin of your staff and Hr. Russell Bywater of this office on February 23, 1993, regarding arrangements for an Enforcement Conference between members of our respective organizations.

The Enforcement Conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

(CST),

on March 2, 1993.

The conference will be conducted via telephone; we will provide the appropriate teleconference number to your staff.

The purpose of this conference is to discuss the findings of an inspection conducted at your facility on February 2 through 5, 1993.

The inspection identified apparent violations of NRC requirements relating to transportation

-of radioactive materials.

Please be prepared to discuss during the conference the apparent violations, their root causes and significance, and the corrective actions planned or taken to prevent recurrence.
