Dear Mr. Johnson:

Enclosed is an Application for Amendment to Operating License to amend. Appendix A of that license to limit the containment internal pressure to 1 psig (versus the present 6 psig). This is consistent with the Ginna Station initial condition assumptions in our containment integrity analysis.

This application is identical to an application submitted.

October 16, 1985, with the exception that Enclosure 1, a report for the BAST Concentration Reduction, August 1985, has already been approved via issuance of Amendment No. 33, March 30, 1989.

This Amendment should become effective within 30 days following RGGE notification of approval by the NRC.
