In support of this request you presented your evaluation of operation during the fourth fuel cycle (cycle 4).
In separate actions you submitted References 2 and 3 which contain new analyses of f1ain'jSteam Line Break (Ref. 2) and 6xcess Load Event and..
Steam Generator Tube Rupture (Ref. 3).

account for TIII-2 related changes to plant operation, i.e. auto intiation of Aat and manual trip of RCP's.
Since these analyses were presented as being applicable to cycle 5, they also serve to update Reference 1 for the subject events.
Ile understand that St. Lucie Unit 1 is now shutdown for the cycle 5 reload.
Therefore it ~is necessary that you complete the update of Reference 1
such that it supports operation at 2700 A1 t during cycle 5.
This may involve nd,I more than a confirmation that the pr'@posed operating limits ar'e still appropriate and a description of the cycle 5 core>
You are requested to provide, within 20 days of receipt of this letter, your schedule for submitting this update.
In the meantime, we will continue to evaluate References 2 and 4 and the analyses of Reference, 3.
