Kaufman, Paul 0 Thursday, April 15, 2010 6:57 PM Conte, Richard OHara, Timothy; Burritt, Arthur RE: Unit 1 Containment liner photos Status Update Salem Unit I - AFW Buried Piping PSEG has cut out approximately 60 ft-70ft. of AFW piping that is relatively shallow (< 5 feet) that was determined to be degraded or required to much prepartion work to obtain UT readings. The finite element analysis evaluating the structural integrity of the rest of the AFW piping is expected to be completed by Monday April 19.
