During the period of the NRC completed an inspection of the on site license renewal activities of your Oyster Creek Generating Station during the last planned outage. The inspection continued in our Region 1 office until The enclosed report documents the results of the inspection, which were discussed on with members of your staff in a telephone conference observed by representatives from the State of New Jersey.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS). SUMMARY

OF FINDINGS IR 05000219/200X00X; Oyster Creek Generating Station; Inspection of the ongoing-license renewal activities at Oyster Creek Generating Station.

This inspection of license renewal activities was performed by three regional office engineering inspectors. The inspection was conducted in accordance with Inspection Procedure 71003 "Post-ADoroval Site Inspection for License Renewal (b)(5)

4. OTHER ACTIVITIES (OA) 40A2 Other - License Renewal
a. Inspection Scope This inspection was conducted by NRC Region I based inspectors in order to observe Oyster Creek's continuing license renewal activities during the last planned outage prior to entering the extended period of operation. The inspection team selected a number of systems for review, using the NRC accepted guidance and their importance in the license renewal application process, in order to gauge the plant's state-of-readiness to enter the extended period of operation.
