Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report for 2008 Enclosed with this cover letter is the Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report for the period January 1 to December 31, 2008. This report includes the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Independent Spent Fuel Storage Facility. In addition, a copy of the OCNGS Offsite Dose Calculation Manual and a change package for Revision 3 is attached. forwards two (2) corrected pages for the 2006 Annual Radiological Effluent Release Report. There are three corrections to Table 1 for the Annual Offsite Doses Due to Radionuclides in Effluents and two corrections on page 2 of the executive summary. The corrections include:
N Table 1 - Correction of the "All Effluents Total Body - mRem" category from the incorrect value of 7.06E-4 mRem to the correct value of 7.85E-3 mRem, and corresponding percent of limit from 2.82E-3 to 3.14E-2.
0 Table 1 - Correction of the "All Effluents - Thyroid mRem" category from the incorrect value of 1.64E-5 mRem to the correct value of 2.25E-2 mRem, and corresponding percent of limit from 2.19E-5 to 3.OOE-2.
M Table 1 - Correction of the "Liquid Liver Percent of Limit" from the incorrect value of 2.78E-3 to the correct value of 6.97E-3.
0 Page 2, first paragraph, third sentence - Correction from incorrect value of 0.0015 percent to correct value of 0.15 percent.
E Page 2, second paragraph, second sentence - Correction from incorrect value of 2.18E-2 mRem/year to correct value of 2.25E-2 mRem/year.
forwards one corrected page for the 2007 Annual Radiological Effluent Release Report. There is one correction on Table 1 for the Annual Offsite Doses Due to Radionuclides in Effluents. The Table 1 column labeled "ODCM 3.11.2.3" should have read 1.33E-2 mRem, instead of the listed value of 1.34E-2 mRem. This represents a 0.75% lower value than previously reported.
