Dear Mr. Crane:
As stated in our cover letter for Inspection Report 05000461/2006011, a meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region III Office, located at 2443 Warrenville Road, Lisle, Illinois 60532.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss an apparent violation which is potentially greater than very low safety significant. This finding involves the potential for air entrainment during high pressure core spray pump operation and was documented in Inspection Report 05000461/
2006011. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have an opportunity to speak with the NRC after the business portion of the meeting, but before the meeting is adjourned.
