Thanks for the update regarding Jims conversation with the requester (msg. below). I spoke to the requester after Jims telephone conversation with Mr. Henderson. The requester has indeed withdrawn his request based on the information provided to him from the web site and his telephone conversation with Jim.

- Anne, I received a call from Bruce Henderson with the Charlotte Observer today at about 2:30 pm after a round of phone tag. We spoke for about 15 minutes, and I provided detailed answers to his questions, which were all straightforward, predictable, and factual in nature. I had obtained from the licensee the Catawba siren data for the 3rd quarter (officially submitted to NEI but not yet posted to our website), and provided that to him. I had the impression that he had procured all the information he had sought via the FOIA request, and it wouldnt surprise me if he doesnt pursue it further.
