Dear Rick:

We are unclear on what to expect about when various meetings will take place that the NRC has promised or alluded to in regards to Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee. Specifically, it is my understanding that there be would sometime in September a public meeting about the "design basis and engineering inspection' that recently took place at ENVY. We were also expecting NRC to schedule a follow-up meeting to the one that took place on 3/31 about the extended power uprate. Further, the public has many unresolved questions about the transformer fire and the missing spent fuel.

Could you send me, even in draft form, a schedule for when NRC intends to conduct these or any other meetings in Vermont? And can you let me know if documents pertaining to the DBE inspection will be made available prior to the meeting so that our technical staff can examine them in advance and be able to comment meaningfully about them when the meeting takes place? Thanks for you help on this.
