On 5121/04, One of the Emergency Service Water Pumps failed. The plant commenced reactor shutdown at 16:00 on 5/21/04. The unit was taken off line at 08:42 on 5/22/04. The plant remained off line until 6/5/04 at 05:21 when the generator was synchronized to the grid.

SUMMARY

The Peny Nuclear Power synchronized to the grid at 0521 on 6/5/04. 100% power was achieved on 6/12/04 at 1847. The unit remained on line through month's end.
