Dear Mr. Leyse:
Your e-mail sent on March 18, 2004, to the Chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) was assigned to my office for a response. The e-mail noted that you disagreed with statements made by the NRC in a Federal Register notice of denial of two of your petitions for rulemaking, and in letters responding to your earlier e-mails to the Chairman.
Your March 18, 2004, e-mail provides no new information to support your earlier claims. You indicate in your e-mail that you will be submitting a revision to your current petition for rulemaking pursuant to 10 CFR 2.802. The staff will take into consideration any new information that you provide in your revised petition for rulemaking, as part of the evaluation of your submittal.
