Letter from Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to Ms. K. Fili, "Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant, NRC Security Baseline Inspection Report 05000263/2014406; Preliminary Greater Than Green Finding," dated December 8, 2014 By the above referenced letter dated December 8, 2014, the NRC transmitted Inspection Report 05000263/2014406 for the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant (MNGP). In the inspection report the NRC identified one finding and apparent violation with a preliminary significance of White for MNGP. In the referenced letter the NRC also provided Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota Corporation, doing business as Xcel Energy (hereafter NSPM) with the opportunity to request a Regulatory Conference or submit our position on the matter in writing.
NSPM appreciates the opportunity to meet with the NRC on this issue and by this letter requests a Regulatory Conference to present NSPM's perspectives on the facts, assumptions, and significance regarding the proposed finding and apparent violation.
Summary of Commitments This letter contains no new commitments and no revisions to existing commitments.
