[ADAMS] Accession No. ML14091A453), FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) submitted notification of a change in a regulatory commitment regarding the submittal of an application for license amendment to implement 10 CFR 50.48(c) at Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1, by transitioning to National Fire Protection Association Standard 805.
By electronic mail on June 24, 2014, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) provided to FENOC a draft Confirmatory Order regarding the change in regulatory commitment, along with a Consent and Hearing Waiver Form.
Enclosed please find the signed Consent and Hearing Waiver Form, whereby FENOC consents to the issuance of the referenced Confirmatory Order, and by doing so, agrees to waive the right to request a hearing on all or any part of the Confirmatory Order.

CONSENT AND HEARING WAIVER FORM FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company hereby agrees to comply with the terms and conditions of the Confirmatory Order arising out of a commitment made in a letter dated April 1, 2014.
FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company understands that the Confirmatory Order will be immediately effective upon its issuance. By signing below, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company consents to the issuance of the referenced Confirmatory Order, effective immediately upon its issuance, and by doing so, agrees to waive the right to request a hearing on all or any part of the Confirmatory Order.
