Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 Docket Number 50-346, License Number NPF-3 Response to FOIA-2010-0209 Document Review Request As requested by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) letter, dated June 17, 2010, the FirstEnergy Nuclear Power Operating Company (FENOC) is providing information related to a Freedom of Information Act request, FOIA-2010-0209. The NRC requested that FENOC review the documents provided in the referenced NRC letter and determine what portions of these records FENOC considers to contain "confidential business (proprietary) information." For information deemed proprietary, the NRC requested that the proprietary information in the documents be clearly bracketed [ ] and that copies of the documents be returned to the NRC, along with a letter answering several specific questions in sufficient detail to permit the NRC to determine if the information should be withheld from public disclosure.
FENOC does not consider any of the information in the documents attached to the subject NRC letter to be confidential business (proprietary) information. As noted in the NRC review request, FENOC concurs with the NRC's withholding of the bracketed [ ]
information pursuant to Exemption 6 of FOIA because it contains private home, cell or pager telephone numbers.
