By Reference 1, the NRG was notified that on August 2, 2019, Monitoring Well 1A was confirmed to be 4 1 ng/1 (0 0041 ug/1) for mercury, which exceeds the permit limit of 1 3 ng/1 (0 0013 ug/1)

The purpose of this letter 1s to provide a 14-day update, as required by CNPs Groundwater Permit GW1810102, on the results of the monitoring point resample On August 5, 2019, Monitoring Well 1A was re-sampled Results show that the mercury concentration was O 003 ug/1 and 1s showing a decreasing trend, however, 1t 1s still above the permit limit of O 0013 ug/1 A 60 day follow-up letter, as required by Groundwater Permit GW1810102, will provide re-sampling results, an evaluation of the cause of event, and CNP's corrective actions The not1ficat1on to the M1ch1gan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy 1s provided, as an enclosure to this letter
