Dear Sir or Madam:
By letter dated August 23, 2006 (0CAN080602), Entergy requested an extension to the completion dates for final resolution of Generic Letter 2004-02, Potential Impact of Debris Blockage on Emergency Recirculation During Design Basis Accidents at Pressurized-Water Reactors." Based on a subsequent telephone conversation with the Staff on October 10, 2006, Entergy has decided to withdraw the request and instead submit separate correspondence revising previous commitments.
