Cause of rupture disc failure is unknown.

\\i.a' iis of Occurrence:

There was no damage to plant equipment. There was no activity release, to personnel exposure or injury and no, danger to the health or safety of the public.

This is the first failure of the new typ'e disc. All previous similar events occurred before replacement of the exhaust disc with a new vacuum-support type.

e The rupture disc was replaced. Valves73-603 (turbine exhaust check) and 73-23 (stop check) will be inspected -during next outage.
