Abstract

During a control room emergency zone boundary inspection several gaps (totaling approximately 117.7 square inches) were discovered between the armor plate east wall and the control room floor. This exceeded the 5.25 square inch limit specified in Technical Specification (TS) 3.7.9 Bases, requiring Potassium Iodide (KI) to be credited as a compensatory measure until the gaps were sealed.

Corrective action to prevent recurrence is outlined in Section V.B.
